Kentucky Star 4-Inch Box in Fumed Oak
"Kentucky" is a pattern dates back to the 1910's, when Hearth and Home Magazine published a quilt block for each state. This box is wrapped with a dark chocolate fumed Oak, with Birdseye Maple and Bubinga in the pattern on top.
The little dot on the side is a veneer inlay and helps to orient the top for perfect fit, and so the grain patterns are matched for each side. The box is 4" square, 3 1/4" high, with warm cherry inside. The interior bottom is lined with black velvet, and the outside bottom is black felt.
