Puss In The Corner 4-Inch Box in Lacewood
"Puss in the Corner" is a cute quilt block name that refers to a Victorian parlor game for children. This box is wrapped with an elegant Lacewood, with fumed Oak in the pattern on top. This has a small dent in the dark oak at the front of the box.
The little dot on the side is a veneer inlay and helps to orient the top for perfect fit, and so the grain patterns are matched for each side. The box is 4" square, 3 1/4" high, with warm cherry inside. The interior bottom is lined with black velvet, and the outside bottom is black felt.
The bottom of this box, when open, is 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" wide inside, and 1 1/2" deep. The lid is 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" inside, and 5/8" deep. When closed, the height of the interior would be 2 1/8".
